The difference between stainless steel protection Applications
2021-10-26

1. Ordinary stainless steel protective film: only used to protect the stainless steel surface

Usually on the most commonly used surfaces, stainless steel frosted surface, stainless steel brushed surface, stainless steel mirror BA surface; usually the frosted brushed surface should be pasted with a stainless steel protective film with a slightly higher viscosity, generally above 70 sticks. The stainless steel mirror panel BA board needs to be pasted with a lower viscosity stainless steel protective film.

2. Stainless steel protective film for laser (laser film): usually used for stainless steel processing and production

In general, the stainless steel plate used for stainless steel laser cutting cannot use ordinary stainless steel film, and needs to use a special stainless steel laser film; while laser cutting processing includes carbon dioxide laser cutting and fiber cutting machine, and the fiber optic machine needs to be protected by fiber optic film. In addition, the current stainless steel laser cutting processing equipment is developing rapidly, and the laser cutting equipment produced by different wattages and different manufacturers will also have certain differences in the filming of stainless steel plates. It is necessary to pay special attention to the thickness and viscosity of the laser equipment film with different wattages, which need to be adjusted according to the processing equipment, and also need to paste different viscosities of laser film or optical fiber special film for different stainless steel surfaces.

3. Stainless steel protective film for stretching: the film material needs to be stretched or stamped later

The main feature of the stretch film is that the protective film itself has a certain toughness and is suitable for stretching or stamping. In addition, the appropriate viscosity and thickness of the stainless steel film are also the key points for stretching and stamping parts. If the viscosity is not enough, it is easy for the film to be blown up during the production process, and the purpose of protecting the surface of the stainless steel is not achieved; however, if the viscosity is too high, the film of the stainless steel product after stretching and stamping will be difficult to tear off, and it takes a lot of manpower to tear the film.

4. Filming methods according to special requirements: single-sided film, double-sided film, double-layer film, spaced film

Due to the needs of subsequent production and processing, stainless steel film can be processed in various ways, such as single-sided film, double-sided film, double-layer film, spaced strip film, etc. The thickness and quality of stainless steel film and film processing operations all affect stainless steel. An important factor in whether the film processing can be carried out as expected and achieve the corresponding effect.
